1. No Return Policy

Due to the nature of our products (consumable food & beverage items), Tealayas does not accept returns or exchanges once an order has been delivered.

This policy ensures product safety, hygiene, and quality integrity.


2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds will only be considered under the following circumstances:

  • You received a damaged product

  • You received the wrong product

  • The product packaging was tampered with upon delivery

  • The product is missing from your order

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Taste preference

  • Incorrect shipping address provided by the customer

  • Delayed delivery due to courier issues beyond our control

  • Minor packaging dents that do not affect product quality


3. Reporting an Issue

To request a refund, you must:

  1. Email admin@tealayas.com

  2. Within 48 hours of delivery

  3. Attach:

    • Clear photos of the product

    • Photos of outer packaging

    • Your order number

Failure to report within 48 hours may result in rejection of the request.


4. Refund Review Process

Once we receive your request:

  • We will review the claim within 5–7 business days

  • If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method

Refund timelines:

  • UPI / Wallet: 3–5 business days

  • Credit/Debit Card: 5–10 business days

  • Net Banking: 5–10 business days

Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.


5. Order Cancellation Policy

Before Dispatch:

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by emailing admin@tealayas.com.

If the order has already been processed or shipped, cancellation will not be possible.

After Dispatch:

Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped.


6. Failed Deliveries

If an order is returned to us due to:

  • Incorrect address

  • Unavailability of recipient

  • Refusal to accept delivery

We reserve the right to:

  • Deduct shipping charges from any refund issued

  • Or decline re-shipment unless additional shipping is paid


7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are strictly non-refundable:

  • Opened products

  • Used products

  • Promotional or discounted items (unless damaged)

  • Gift cards (if introduced in future)


8. Fraud Prevention

Tealayas reserves the right to refuse refunds if:

  • Repeated refund abuse is detected

  • False claims are suspected

  • Evidence does not support the complaint


9. Compliance

This Refund Policy is aligned with applicable Indian e-commerce and consumer protection guidelines.
